Resident Information

The Association is obliged by our bylaws to conduct an annual meeting every October, and all homeowners are strongly encouraged to attend. At this meeting, Board members are elected and issues of concern to all neighbors are discussed. The date for the annual meeting is usually the third Tuesday of October, and is announced well in advance via the WC group email list (see below), as well as posted on the bulletin board at the mail shed.

The current fee is $250. per month and is due on the first day of each month.  The funds cover expenses associated with landscaping, liability insurance on common property, common area lighting, exterior termite monitoring, and other incidental operating expenses.

The WC Board of Directors is comprised of seven (7) property owners, and a new board is elected each year at the annual meeting in October.

The Board meets on a regular basis at a member's home or via web conference. All WC property owners are welcome to attend board meetings. To contact the Board, email info@woodbridgecrossing.org or drop a note into Box 32 at the mail shed.

If you are interested in serving on the board, you may request your name be added to the election ballot by notifying a current board member or dropping a note in Box #32 of the mail shed prior to the October meeting.

The WC Board maintains a private email discussion list on Google Groups for announcements of interest to residents. To subscribe, please send a request to info@woodbridgecrossing.org

The Association has contracted with a landscape company for weekly maintenance service. This includes cutting the grass, trimming bushes, weeding common areas, and generally keeping the grounds clean and uniform. The Association has also accepted responsibility for maintaining all trees in the community. For a special tree request or emergency tree removal, please email info@woodbridgecrossing.org or put a note in Mailbox #32 in the mail shed.

Please note the landscaping company is NOT responsible for yard maintenance behind the WC buildings. If you have a special request concerning landscaping in the back of your property or the common property, please email info@woodbridgecrossing.org, or write a short note of explanation and place it in Mailbox #32 at the mail shed. Depending on the nature of your request, the Association may be able to pay for the work. Each request is reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

All streets and parking areas in our community are public roads, and as such there is no assigned parking. The only Association requirement is that you park in a marked space. Parking along curbs is discouraged because of the possibility of blocking emergency vehicles.

The speed limit within the WC complex is 10 miles per hour. It is set by the city and is enforced by the police. We are an active community with walkers, joggers, children and dogs so please be careful and watch out for pedestrians.

Pets are certainly welcome in our community. Please be a responsible pet owner. There is a leash law that requires all animals to be kept on a leash when outside, and clean up after all pets to keep our grounds sanitary. Animals that dig, bark or otherwise disrupt a neighbor's property can create significant problems in the community; we ask that you be mindful in this regard.

Each homeowner owns and is responsible for his/her home and the land on which it sits. The Association owns relatively little property held as common areas – the ravine along the creek, mail shed, sidewalks, and a few small planting areas near the community entrance. See the County Plat Map to view the property lines. Please visit the DeKalb County Property Appraisal website for more detailed information regarding individual homeowner tax related matters.

The WC covenants stipulate no more than four (4) units may be leased within the community. All other homes are considered to be in "restricted leasing status". Property owners wishing to be placed on the rental wait list should send a request to info@woodbridgecrossing.org

Please see the WC Covenants, Article II Amendment for specific leasing regulation information.

Woodbridge Crossing is within the City of Atlanta school district.

Trash, recyclables, and yard debris is collected by the City of Atlanta each week on Tuesday. During weeks with federal holidays, garbage collection will occur one day later on Wednesday.

Be sure to close all collection containers securely to prevent spillage. Please do not put any items out on the curb until the night before collection.  Also, please move trash/recycle containers away from the curb (preferably out of sight) as soon as possible after it is emptied. Trash and recycling containers should NOT be left near the curb on non-collection days.

We encourage participation in the city recycling program. Please visit the Recycling Information web site for more details.

Yard clippings/waste should be packed into tall paper bags (purchased at hardware stores, Home Depot, Lowes, etc.)
